We collect the minimum needed to sell and ship an object. We do not sell personal data.
Who we are
KAIWU Studio operates KAIWU. You can reach us at hello@kaiwu.example or at Shanghai, China.
This policy applies to kaiwu and its subdomains, checkout and transactional email.
What we collect
When you order: name, email, shipping address, optional phone and order notes. When you subscribe: email and locale. When you contact us: whatever you include in your message.
Payment card data is collected and processed directly by Stripe or PayPal. We receive only a payment status, a transaction reference and limited billing details. Card numbers never touch our servers.
Why we use it
To fulfil orders, provide support, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting obligations, and — only if you opt in — send occasional dispatch emails. You can unsubscribe from any email.
We use essential cookies for admin sessions and locale preference. Your cart is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a tracking cookie. We do not run advertising pixels by default.
Retention & rights
Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Marketing emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are rotated.
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your data. Email hello@kaiwu.example and we will respond within 30 days.
